It all started with a request from a few customers
We have been continuously receiving requests from car owners whose warranty has expired at Hyundai official service center. These requests were mainly related to requests for discounts on maintenance and spare parts for cars that are out of warranty.
Our customers did not want to lose the sense of comfort provided by the warranty service, which prompted us to create a new warranty product.
In a short time, our team started discussions. Why limit this warranty to just maintenance? On a larger scale, how can we meet the needs of car owners? – Looking for answers to these questions, we decided to start a new project: Extra Warranty!
Through this project, we have created an opportunity to give car owners who have expired their warranty the opportunity to re-warranty their cars.
Additionally, we thought, why limit the program to only cars that are out of warranty? Why not give second-hand car owners the same opportunity? After all, it is everyone’s right to drive a car with warranty.
We officially launched in January 2023
So we started working on this concept and officially launched the project in January 2023.
Not long after, after passing the technical details, contracts, negotiations with partners and other important stages, we started the first sales in March.
Among our first customers were owners of both out-of-warranty and second-hand cars. Their feedback and interest in the project showed us that we are on the right track.
Our goal was to provide comfort and confidence to car owners. High repair costs, technical malfunctions and other problems caused customers to feel uneasy while driving. We put an end to these worries with Ekstra Garantia.
As a result, it has been a great success for us to provide both new and old car owners with guaranteed and reliable driving.
